Alex Garinther, Ph.D

Alex has a decade of experience in social science research. His degrees are in Psychology (PhD, MA) and Public Administration (MPA), and his past work has investigated topics that span decision making, social behavior, public safety, communications, and other social-cognitive phenomena. More recently, he has developed a special interest in program evaluation, human factors, and best practices in applied research.

As a Senior Research Analyst, Alex contributes research and evaluation expertise to a variety of projects Second Sight. Over his career, Alex has held institutional positions at Boston College, Harvard University, the University of Oregon, and the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC.
