Michael McClary
Mike was an Assistant Sheriff and served 32 years with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He Held investigative and leadership positions in the LVMPD including Uniformed Patrol, SWAT, Narcotics, Gang Crimes, Special Investigations, Organized Crime, and Counter-Terrorism. Mike also led departmental investigative efforts in Criminal Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Organized Crime, and Counter-Terrorism. From 2012-2017 Mike was a primary consultant to the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Adversarial Modeling & Exploitation Office (NRL-AMX). From 2017 to the present, Mike has been part of several research initiatives with Saint Joseph’s University (SJU) and the High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group (HIG), primarily focused on validating Science-based strategies to enhance information gain during Interviews and Interrogations. Mike has co-authored four published research reports and several white papers. He is also a member of iIIRG and presented at 2 International iIIRG conferences as well as 3 HIG national conferences
At Second Sight, Mike supports projects related to intelligence interviewing and behavioral observation training programs with Federal clients.
